Period 4 Review Timeline Assignment
Objective: Create a timeline of 5–10 key events from Period 4 of U.S. History using the Gilder Lehrman timeline as your resource. This activity will help you review and analyze the significance of major events from this period.
Instructions:
- Select Events: Visit the Gilder Lehrman Period 4 Timeline Links to an external site. and choose 5–10 events that you think are most significant to this time period.
- Create Your Timeline:
- Draw or design your timeline.
- Plot the events in chronological order.
- Include the event's name and year for each point on the timeline.
- Explain Significance:
- On the back of your timeline, write 2–3 sentences for each event explaining its significance to U.S. history.
- Be Creative and Organized: Make sure your timeline is neat and easy to follow. Add color or visuals.
