Tamaira Ross, the Boeing Chief Engineer of Rapid Space Capabilities, will talk about creating and assessing viable business models for the development and application of new aerospace capabilities. Certainly, an apt topic for our current times with multitudes of start-ups in crewed and uncrewed systems across a broad spectrum of technologies and missions.

Tamaira is uniquely qualified to lead this conversation, with a career spanning both the technical and managerial sides of aerospace and space exploration. In addition, she is an affiliate instructor teaching Technical Leadership at the University of Washington’s College of Engineering. Her course is known for blending practical case studies, reflective exercises, and forward-thinking discussions about technology’s place in society. The talk at the Museum of Flight is an outgrowth of this class, promising to bring some of its most compelling lessons to a broader audience.
