WORKSHEET: Momentum Conservation I + Bar Graphs (Skip Problem 3)
- Due No Due Date
- Points 0
After our lab, our big conclusion was momentum is conserved, in all types of interactions, within an Isolated System. Momentum in a system can change, when an outside force interacts. Today, with the class handout, you will practice two skills: Representing conservation of momentum in bar graphs, and calculating variables (mass and velocity) after collisions, given knowns.

Apply the equations during the handout. You can check answers Download check answers, once you've tried the problems! Note: We haven't covered the info yet to properly solve problem 3. We will get there very soon.
Pi = Pf or mivi = mfvf
PiA + PiB = PfA + PfB
Most helpful form: miAviA + miBviB = mfAvfA + mfBvfB
massinitialobject A * initial velocity of A + initial momentum of B = sum of A and B's momentum after event (collision).
