11/27-12/1: Unit 1 Project Week 4
Monday November 27
- Objective: This is our last full day day of work on this project before your rough draft is due. You should be finishing in sections that were incomplete as of last week and preparing yourself to submit tomorrow. REMEMBER TO CHECK THE RUBRIC TO ENSURE YOU ARE SHOWING EVIDENCE OF MEETING ALL THREE STANDARDS.

- Did you make the progress you needed to on your pieces of the website over the weekend?
- What are your top remaining priorities to get done on your site?
- What do you want to make sure you accomplish today?

- Activity: Website work.

- Every piece of new information you use in your website needs to have an in-text citation that matches one of the full citations in your bibliography/works cited (Porter).
- Double check both the rubric and assignment description to make sure all required components of your website are included.

Tuesday November 28

Wednesday November 29/ Thursday November 30
- Objective: To gain critical feedback on our initial website work through peer reviewing.
- Entry:
- Please make sure that your name or initials are attached to any individual work you have done on the website.
- Get 4 rubrics from Mr. Porter's desk from your group.
- Review the rubrics to make sure you know what you are looking for.
- Activity: Peer review
- You will be reviewing the work from the group that is one table clockwise away from you.
- To review, you will need to read and discuss the website multiple times as a group.
- First Read:
- Are all of the components outlined in the assignment description present in the website?
- Are there accurate in-text citations throughout the website that are correctly formatted?
- What would be the letter grade you would give to the overall site?
- Second Read:
- Pick one member of their group to evaluate. Look for all evidence of that person's work in the website and evaluate it according to the rubric. Make sure their name and group topic are at the top of the rubric paper.
- You should be discussing their grades as a group and coming to a consensus.
- Third Read:
- Repeat the "second read" steps with another member of their group.
- Fourth Read:
- Repeat the "second read" steps with another member of their group.
- Fifth Read (If they have 4 group members):
- Repeat the "second read" steps with another member of their group.
- First Read:
- Once you have evaluated the work of each of their individual group members, return their rubrics to them and tell them you are available if they have any questions.
- When you have your rubrics back, create a plan for completing the final draft of your website. A Reminder: It will be published and shared publicly at the end of the day on Tuesday 12/5.

Friday December 1
- Objective: To make progress on the Final Draft of our websites.
- Entry:
- What do you want to accomplish for your website by the due date on Tuesday?
- Create a plan for what you want to accomplish each day (Today, this weekend, Monday) prior to the due date for each group member.
- Exit
- Discuss today's progress with your group and make sure everyone knows their homework for the weekend.
