Meet the Instructor

Hello! My name is Ms. Olson, and I will be the teacher of this fantastic Biology Class. This is my fourth year at RAHS, and I am so excited to be continuing to work with such an amazing community! 

A little about me...

• I was born and raised here in Washington. 
• I have two Bachelor's degrees from Northern Arizona University. The 1st is in Psychology, and the 2nd is in Criminology and Criminal Justice. Yes, I do love true crime and can talk about serial killers and crime tv shows all day. 
• I completed my Masters in Teaching through Western Governors University.
• I love the water. I am practically a mermaid. I was a competitive swimmer, lifeguard, and swim instructor. I also scuba dive and love to spend the day at the beach or out boating.  
• I have a dog named Toast. She is the best! 
• Go Hawks! I love football and watch every game! 
• On the weekend, you can find me reading a book, watching movies, or crafting. I love to make cards and decals. 
• My favorite food is probably pancakes or life-saver gummies. 
• My favorite superheroes are Captain America, The Hulk, and Batman. 
• My all-time favorite movie is Remember the Titians, or She's the Man! 
• Star Wars over Star Trek, Marvel over DC, Harry Potter over LoTRs. Let's be real; they are all amazing, and I love them all.
